This course serves as a practical guide to
Official and Authorized Private Veterinarians on the principles of Veterinary
Health Certification for the export of animals and/or products of animal origin
to countries where import requirements can be met.
The course consists of 3 modules with a competency assessment after each module. Participants who achieve an average score of 80% or higher in each module will qualify for a Certificate of Competence.

This course is aimed at personnel at EU approved ostrich abattoirs who needs to qualify as accredited Animal Welfare Officers(AWO) according to the requirements of (EU)1099/2009. It provides practical information on:
